We are very pleased to announce the success of our wonderful catering team in this years NACC South West Care Chef of the year competition. On the 5th of July William our catering manager attended the south west regional heat. The competition was judged on a two-course menu of a main and a desert, suitable for service users in a care setting. The combined food cost for both courses had to be no more than £3 per head based on three portions and the meal had be nutritionally balanced, the chefs are given ninety minutes to complete the meal.
William came away with prizes for highly commended main as well as being the regional finalist.
He will now be invited to take part in the national final, So we wish him the best of luck!
